Meadowbank Car4U celebrated in style on St Andrews Night with another very successful fundraising ceilidh. With grateful thanks to band leader Alistair Allan and the fundraising committee we raised the magnificent figure of £757.36

Event: Race Night 22nd February 2019

We are having a fundraising Race night on the 22nd February 2019. It is in the Masonic Hall Brightons and first race is 7.30 pm. Tickets are only £5 and this includes a sandwich buffet. You wont find old races projected on screens, instead you'll find racegoers joining in if they want to 'wind' their horses in a quickly as possible. As you would expect it makes for great fun for all ages. So please come along for a good fun night while supporting our cause. Call Graham on 07774 126557 for tickets and information.

The Team- Fundraisers

The Team Fundraisers:

Fundraising is very important for us. It will raise the money we need to pay our drivers’ fuel costs so that we can continue to provide our service free of charge. Events are an important part of that as well as being a way of letting people know about Car 4U through things like coffee mornings, race nights, bag packing at the local supermarkets etc etc. We need you to come along and bring fresh ideas. You can give as much time as you wish. If you are on Facebook look out for our page Meadowbank Car 4U. Please “like” the page and you will be kept up to date with events and information. Please let all your friends know and ask them to “like” us too.

There are several ways in which you can help Meadowbank Car 4U raise funds and one of the easiest is to access your online shopping through easyfundraising.org.uk. You can find the link to it at the bottom of the website page which explains how it works. There are no extra charges for either you or the charity, but around 1% of your shopping costs will be donated to the charity of your choice. Have a look and see how easy it is.
