What is The Meadowbank Car 4U?
We are a small, local charity, newly registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) on 29 February 2016 (a leap year baby!). Our aim is to provide a free, friendly hospital transport service for cancer patients registered at Meadowbank Health Centre.
Why is The Meadowbank Car 4U so important?
Getting to and from hospital for cancer treatment appointments can be difficult from the Upper and Lower Braes areas. Public transport can be infrequent and expensive, while driving involves the stress of traffic and hospital parking. Meadowbank Car 4U removes these worries and concerns by doing the driving for you for free: making the journey to hospital as pleasant and stress free as possible.

If you have cancer, and are registered at Meadowbank Health Centre, our drivers can take you to and from your hospital appointments and treatment sessions.
